How beautiful and intricate... art comes in so many forms. I find a lot of my inspiration from India. There are so many facets to their culture. Spirituality and customs plays such a huge part in their art. I took this picture of Ganesha in Jackson Hole. I was looking for a cup of coffee and turned a corner and there he was... Ganesha is my favourite Indian Deity. Ganesha is said to be a wonderful deity when it comes to new beginnings. He is the remover of obstacles!
I have always loved elephants. Maybe because I was born in Africa. I had a stuffed pink one that I got when I was about 2. Her name was Ellie the Elephant. There is sure to be many more elephants on this blog....
