Dark House WINS

Dark House won best feature film at the Shriekfest film festival this past weekend. It was so fun to work on this film. The effects team were amazing. I went through 6 hours of make up to complete the transformation into a Wraith. Al and Megan are so talented. It was a pleasure to bring their vision to life.

PMC jewelry class

I took a PMC jewelry class on saturday. We were assigned 2 projects so there wasn't much lea way to do what I wanted. But now that I know the technique I will be making loads of cute pieces. I made a pair of earrings, which I plan on making into 2 pendants, and an actual pendant. We made the pieces with layering to understand different ways of "joining" the PMC. For those of you not familiar with PMC, it's a clay that has organic materials and fine dust like pieces of either silver, gold, bronze and copper. The organic materials burn/evaporate when the piece is fired in a kiln at about 1650 farenheit leaving a beautiful fine silver piece. Having done ceramics, graphic art and fine art in school I just loved this!
